"Let's get cosy on the sofa Mummy!"

My 3 year olds favourite one liner back in 2017 (and mine, as it gave me an excuse to stop doing house work and have a cuddle!!!). So in case you were wondering, this is how I came up with the name "Let's get cosy...". Normally I would procrastinate over such a thing, overthinking it and never actually making a decision, but this was the first thing that came to mind... and it stuck! I told myself that it was Madeline that chose it really, so I would be a really bad mum if I changed it. It was also only right that Madeline was my 1st model!

Why Chunky Knitting?

During these numerous occasions that I would 'have' to get cosy on the sofa with Madeline (I did do housework also - I promise), I may have slyly browsed Instagram, whilst pretending to be engrossed in Moana or Paw Patrol (for the hundredth time!!), and I kept coming across these chunky knit blankets. As soon as I saw them, I LOVED them and needed one in my life. I started shopping for one, but then thought I would have a go at making one instead! A few attempts later, I finally got there and I haven't stopped knitting since! Its surprisingly theraputic!
